St. Croix, Virgin Islands Photography Exhibit
Throughout the years Jaeda developed an interest in photography. She wanted to gain some techniques in photography. When given a choice for her class project she selected Photography. With the help of her mother they selected, Denise Bennerson PhD, award winning photographer, educator and owner of Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery. “I was very happy to work with Jaeda because she was passionate about Photography,” said Denise Bennerson. “In addition, she followed through on my initial assignment and she had great parental support.
Jaeda Magrino is a tenth grade honor student attending St. Croix Educational Complex she learned many photography techniques, how to compose her photographs and the business side of photography. She had fun conducting her first photography session with models. Her exhibit will showcase the results. Bennerson said, “It was a joy to work with Jaeda and we are happy to hold her first photography exhibit as we celebrate our fourth year at our present location on Queen St. in Frederiksted,” and “We are inviting the community to view Jaeda’s “A Taste of Photography Elegance,” photography exhibit.
The exhibit will be held at Homeland Collections Portrait Galley, 16A Queen St., Frederiksted, St. Croix Virgin Islands on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and includes a presentation by Jaeda during that time. The public is invited and there will be light refreshments.

Homeland Collections Portrait Gallery and Denise Bennerson, photographer sponsored Marci Sandler, Photographer to conduct a Photography workshop on St. Croix US Virgin Islands – it was a success. Many of the participants enjoyed learning about her style of photography including creating fairies and mermaids. An exciting part of the workshop were participants traveling to Little Bay, St. Croix to photograph models. It was a wonderful experince.
